March 2009

A field trip was undertaken to mine’s industrial ground, inspection of the installed vacuum pump and testing of its operation regimes was done. Methane concentration in methane – air blend during the vacuum pump operation was registered at 30-50%.

The permission was obtained by CMMRUC to run acceptance (operational) trial of the VVN1-3 vacuum pump, issued by Rostechnadzor of Kemerovo region.

PR campaign of CMMRUC/project implementation continued and relative publication made in “Expert Sibir” magazine ¹4-5, February 2009.

February 2009

CMMRUC personnel worked jointly with the Scientific Center «VostNII» specialists to issue the permit for experimental- industrial trial of VVN1-3 vacuum pump, and required documents submitted including: the vacuum –pump technical passport, certificate of conformity, permission to use the pump inside dangerous industrial plants.

January 2009

A number of technical discussions was held with “Krasnogorskaya Mine” and OAO “Prokopjevskugol “ specialists, possible options for degas wells stimulation to get maximum methane release from coal seams discussed, as well as the vacuum-pump VVN1-3 assembly conditions in the mine’s vacuum-pump station.   

The heating system for a gas-pipeline was checked to confirm the provisions of the Design document The pipeline heating system assembly was done in accordance with the standard -technical document.

Organizational issues related to the acceptance trial of the vacuum-pump addressed jointly with experts from Scientific Center «VostNII», “Krasnogorskaya Mine” and OAO “Prokopjevskugol”.

December 2008

Some technical meetings held on OAO “Krasnogorskaya Mine” to address issues of the water-annular vacuum pump VVN1-3 acquisition and degas systems parameters specified to ensure the reliable operation of the vacuum-pump. The proposal was made to drill additional boreholes to get higher methane concentrations in methane-air blend and thus to ensure a stable performance of the modular boiler station (MBS).

Gas pipeline heating options were discussed, incorporating the possible use of the MBS generated heat and supplementary installation of a heat exchanger to create a dual-profile heating system and additional three-way ball cocks in order to change directions of the heat carrier flow. The installation place for the heat exchanger and a satellite laying ground was chosen.

November 2008

Participation in the meeting devoted to the mining safety (VostNII) and consideration of possible versions of the modular boiler industrial tests without sufficient quantity of methane of the required concentration.

Preparation of the document confirming the possibility of undertaking the modular boiler MKU-V-0.7 industrial tests at the Krasnogorskaya mine (OOO Prokopyevskugol) with the mine degasification system operating the vacuum pump of lesser capacity and the choice of suppliers of the pump type 2VVN1-3 with the capacity of 3 m3/min.

 October 2008

The visit of the international UNDP persons to Kemerovo in order to control the project execution and giving recommendations. Undertaking meetings in the Institute of Coal and Coal Chemistry of SB RAS and OAO Kuzbassky Technopark where the possibilities of the assistance for the further execution of the project within the frames of current regional privileges and breaks were discussed.

Participation in the international conference “The 4th Session of the UNECE Ad Hoc Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane” (Geneva, 16-17th of October 2008) within the frames of which the report “Project of CMM Utilization in the Kuzbass Coal Basin, Evaluation of CMM Emission in Russian Federation” was presented, the issues of executing Kyoto Protocol in RF and execution of the UNDP/GOF pilot project at the Krasnogorskaya mine were highlighted

Continuation of PR campaign of the project: issue of the brochure on the boiler, manufacturing of the souvenir production with the logo of NPO Uglemetan, informing the community on NPO Uglemetan's activities by publications in the newspapers Rossijskaya Gazeta and Continent Sibir, broadcasting the  TV spot on the installation of the boiler on the federal TV channel in the Vesti program. 

September 2008

The scheduled visits to the Krasnogorskaya mine and control over the readiness of the pipeline and the boiler equipment for the commissioning works and test start. Measuring the time of air gas mixture flow from the degasification system of the mine with operating vacuum pump VVN-50.

The approval for undertaking operational tests of the modular boiler MKU-V-0.7 at the Krasnogorskaya mine in October 2008 -January 2009 was received from the Rostechnadzor Department of technological and ecological control of Kemerovskaya Region.

The visits of NPO Uglemetan specialists to the OAO Bijsky Boiler Plant and participation in the meeting to discuss the terms of fixing the drawbacks revealed at the modular boiler.

August 2008

The Certificate of Conformity # POCC RU.ÀÈ50.HO2744 for a modular boiler ÌÊÓ-Ï, ÌÊÓ-Â ÒÓ 24.193-2006 has been received. The certificate confirms the boiler’s conformity to the requirements of the regulatory documents and its capability to be operated by coal mine methane.  
The positive experts' opinion for the industrial safety of the Project “External gas feeding of the modular boiler at OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya” has been received. The experts’ opinion has been registered at Rostechnadzor of Kemerovskaya region and filed with the project technical documentation.

Within the frames of the created in Kemerovskaya region OAO Kuzbassky Technopark the first meting of the Expert Council took place. At the meeting the specialists of NPO Uglemetan presented the project ‘Utilization of Coal Mine Methane in a Modular Boiler at OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya, Prokopyevsk’. The project was approved and according to the Expert Council decision NPO Uglemetan received the status of the resident of Kuzbassky Technopark among the first three residents.

July 2008

All the modules of the boiler MKU-B-0.7 and additional set of the equipment are located at the operational site of OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya (Prokopyevsk). The assembly works are being done. The modules of the boiler, reserve water tank, air heater are placed on the foundation. The chimney is put on the foundation, too. The roof has been assembled, too. All the inside-boiler communications are made, the welding works are completed. The representatives of the OOO BiKZ Energoservice arrived to the site to set up the automatic mechanisms of the boiler.

June 2008

The international seminar ‘Financing Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization Projects’ too place. It was supported by Kemerovo region Administration and participated by coal mining and power engineering companies of Kuzbass and RF.

The spare parts and additional equipment of a modular boiler was transported from OAO Shakhta Komsomolets (Leninsk-Kuznetsky) to OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya.

May 2008

Transfer of the location of the pilot project executed within the frames of UNDP/GEF/14640 Project ‘Russian Federation –Removing Barriers to Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ to OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya (Prokopyevsk) for OAO Shakhta Komsomolets has been sold to a new owner.

The Agreement of Collaboration in executing the pilot project ‘Coal Mine Methane Utilization at OOO Shakhta Krasnogorskaya’ within the frames of UNDP/GEF/14640 Project ‘Russian Federation –Removing Barriers to Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ was signed by NPO Uglemetan, OOO HC SDS-Energo and OAO HC SDS-Ugol.

The contract of executing the innovation project ‘Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization' in Kemerovo Region was made between NPO Uglemetan and OAO Technopark.

The training program for NPO Uglemetan personnel in Corporate Education University 'Lyudi Dela' (Novosibirsk) - «PR Technologies» - was continued.

April 2008

Meeting at OAO SUEK on the issues of undertaking the works on determining gas content, permeability and gas pressure of coal seams took place. This will let commence activities on directional drilling and degas methane utilization at the Company’s coal mines.

Within the frames of UNDP/GEF/14640 Project ‘Russian Federation –Removing Barriers to Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ the Company for Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization was founded. The alterations to the Kemerovo Region law of state support to the investment and industrial activities and on including the activity of ‘Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ in the list of privileged activities were developed on the basis of the CMMRUC's documentation.

March 2008

The training program for NPO Uglemetan in Moscow Business School - «Practical Course for Supply Manager» and «Finances for Directors» - was continued.

The meeting with the representatives of OAO SUEK-Kuzbass at OAO Shakhta Komsomolets on preparation for the assembly of a 0.7 MW modular boiler took place. As the result of the meeting the Minutes were signed and the following decisions were taken: giving the technical conditions for connecting a transformer to the power grid and installation of a mast transformer substation.

Set of business plans and carbon documentation (PIN, PDD) * was developed for Kuzbass coal mines; the work of reduplicating the pilot Project at the other coal mines is being undertaken.

NPO Uglemetan participated in the meeting in the Institute of Complex Mastering of Entrails of RAS on discussing the issues of collaboration in the works of estimation of methane recovery and utilization at the claims of the operating Kuzbass mines, and industrial implementation of methane utilization technologies.

February 2008

Receipt and transfer of the project documentation ‘Development of project documentation for 0.7 Gcal/hour modular gas water-heating boiler at ÎÀÎ Shakhta Komsomolets’ to the municipality of Leninsk-Kuznetsky for receiving approvals for the construction location selection documentation and the approval for construction of a modular boiler at the operational site of OAO Shakhta Komsomolets.

Meeting with the Head of Project Department of NTC OAO Promgas (Kamensk-Shakhtinsky) at NPO Uglemetan for receiving raw data for developing project documentation ‘External gas supply for modular boiler’ took place.  The location at OAO Shakhta Komsomolets was attended.

The necessary documents for preparation of the rent contract of the Mobile Degasification Facility site and project registration at the Construction Department of Leninsk-Kuznetsky municipal authorities were handed over to the legal Department of OAO Shakhta Komsomolets. 

Kemerovo Region Administration is being informed on the status of the project ‘Degas Methane Utilization at the Komsomolets mine (Leninsk-Kuznetsky) execution and preparation of analytical report on coal mime methane recovery and utilization.

January 2008

Negotiations with ÎÎΠSibOlmiService on the completion of the 3d stage of a modular boiler site preparation, a boiler foundation preparation and a heater and exhaust pipe installation.

The meeting with representatives of the project designing company ÎÀΠKuzbassgyproshakht took place. The meeting included discussion of the electric chapter of the project and the term of readiness of the project documentation ‘Development of project documentation for 0.6 Gcal/hour modular gas water-heating boiler‘.

The professional training program for NPO Uglemetan personnel commenced and Professional Skills Increase Certificate for Gas Boiler Operator and Certificate with the right of maintenance Rostechnadzor facilities was awarded to an Uglemetan employee.

The Acceptance Certificate for temporary storage of the equipment including a modular boiler, a chimney, gas box, air heater module with the management of ÎÀÎ Shakhta Komsomolets was signed.

November 2007

Aiming to replicate UNDP/GEF/14640 Project ‘Russian Federation –Removing Barriers to Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ the meeting at ÎÀÎ Shakhta Kotinskaya took place where the issues of prospective development of degasification and coal mine methane utilization in boilers and gas generators were discussed. The coal from boreholes and coalface were sampled in order to determine gas content and permeability of coal seams.

The meeting with the director of ÎÎΠSibOlmiService on the status of the 1st stage of a modular boiler site preparation took place. The modular boiler is being installed within the frames of UNDP/GEF/14640 Project ‘Russian Federation –Removing Barriers to Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization’ at OAO Shakhta Komsomolets. .

There were negotiations with Novokuznetsk representative office of ÎÀΠPromgas and STC ÎÀΠPromgas, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, and the task for the project ‘External gas supply for a modular boiler’ at ÎÀÎ Shakhta Komsomolets was signed.

Participation in the international conference Methane to Markets Partnership Exp (Beijing) in order to increase qualification, receive additional knowledge and know-how on coal mine methane projects implementation, enlarge international contacts and make contact with investors for co-financing the project.

October

The Scope of Work for the design and manufacture of the external pipeline prepared and negotiations with several companies for its assembly undertaken. The potential subcontractor Shakhtpozhservice determined.

The UNDP/GEF project introduction and implementation status information, as well as other  NPO Uglemetan activity in the field of JI project development in the coal industry of Russia published in the KP related foreign issue (www.jiqweb.org) Vol.13 #3 in English.  

The modular boiler station (MBS) delivered to Leninsk-Kuznetsky and temporarily located in the guarded storage facilities of the Komsomolets mine. The MBS assembly will commence in mid November. Currently, the site preparation for the boiler on the mining lease of Komsomolets mine is in its final stage.

September

The preparation of the site for a modular boiler is being executed by the construction company ÎÎÎ «SibOlMiService» in Leninsk-Kuznetsky. The preparation works (gravel supplied, the site leveled, fence supports brought, technical characteristics for electric power supply received) completed.

The issue of appointing the employees for operating the modular boiler at ÎÀÎ «Shakhta Komsomolets» is being solved.
The contract with the company «Tetracom» for training the employees of the project and ÎÀÎ «Shakhta Komsomolets» made, incorporating the certificates issuance.

Talks with several companies for MBS transportation from the railway station to the mine site undertaken and Agreement with the construction company ÎÎÎ «SibOlMiService» signed, stipulating the application of its own transportation and loading facilities.

The Business Plan development for the establishment of the Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization Company (CMMRUC) on the basis of NPO Uglemetan commenced. The marketing research for the directional drilling equipment application started and probable suppliers of drilling equipment analyzed, the preliminary negotiations took place and some commercial offers received.

PR plan for CMMRUC activity and Training Program for its personnel developed. The negotiations with the Governor’s office of Kemerovskaya region took place. The PR department expressed its readiness for cooperation and investment into PR Plan accomplishment.

August

The negotiations for the MBS foundation and site preparation design work accomplishment undertaken with relevant institutions in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Bijsk and Kemerovo. The agreement with ÎÀÎ «Kuzbassgyproshakht» made under condition that Construction Project Design will incorporate entire technical documentation into the unified «Project Design Document».

The tender between construction companies for MBS site preparation at ÎÀÎ «Shakhta Komsomolets» undertaken. Based on the tender results, the contractor’s agreement with ÎÎÎ «SibOlMiService» in Leninsk-Kuznetsky made.

At the exhibition «Kuzbass – Coal Heart of Russia» (August 23-26, 2007) the presentation of Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Utilization Company (CMMRUC) established on the basis of NPO Uglemetan and its services in the field of CMM recovery and utilization projects development and realization took place. The gratifying letter from V. P. Mazikin, the Governor’s First Deputy received.

July

International workshop “ CMM Recovery and Utilization Projects Accomplishment  in Kuzbass within the Kyoto Protocol Mechanisms” organized and held in collaboration with Kemerovskaya region Administration, Russian Carbon Fund and Institute of Coal and Coal Chemistry of SB RAS in Kemerovo.

The NPO Uglemetan staff took part in the training workshop organized by the company “Renaissance Finance International” (Great Britain): "Efficient Business Planning of Methane Recovery and Utilization Projects”.

The site for the modular boiler station construction, modules and supply lines location agreed. The Scope of Work for the design of a modular boiler station foundation, external pipeline and supply lines prepared.

Data on the methane/air mixture composition recovered by the degas well aimed for the project "Methane Emissions Lowering in Mining Section of Breevsky Coal Seam at the Komsomolets Mine Employing the Surface Vacuum Pump Station ” received and project submitted to Rosgortechnadzor for technical expertise.

June

The business trip undertaken to the mobile degasification unit on Komsomolets mine to determine the possibility of the project site transfer to another location, where exists the possibility for the generated heat utilization. The vacuum pumps, moisture separators and supply lines inspected, the data on methane flow rate and change in the methane concentration in the methane/air outlet jet received.

The additional contract with ÎÀÎ «Bijsky Boiler Plant» for manufacturing a heater equipped module signed. Due to methane concentration lowering in the project aimed borehole the decision adopted to transfer a modular boiler station to another borehole, where the methane concentration is equal to 50%.  

The issues of carbon documentation development, potential JI projects technical profile, and possible coal mine methane utilization options to be used on other mines of the company were discussed with the higher management of ÎÀÎ «SUEK».

May

The pilot project realization of the modular boiler station installation on Komsomolets mine continues. The constant monitoring of the boiler manufacturing process by ÎÀÎ Bijsky Boiler Plant (BBP) and mine’s site preparation initiated.

The questionnaire for additional technical calculations of generated steam was sent to ÎÀÎ BBP. Business trip to Bijsk undertaken by NPO Uglemetan engineers to revise the documentation and to receive the originals of contracts on the modular boiler station and additional equipment the delivery and assembly.

April 2007

Project team participation in the conference titled “Kyoto Protocol: Carbon Market Opportunities for Russian Enterprises», Moscow, April, 2007 in order to be well informed about current situation on JI projects implementation opportunities in Russia and projects replication potential analysis.

Market material development to disclose Project Team capabilities in JI projects development and realization, as well as Project results better communication during conferences and exhibitions.

Conducting a technical discussion on Komsomolets mine in Leninsk- Kuznetskii pertaining to the Contract signing with Byisk boiler plant and confirmation of previous agreement on modular boiler station installation on Komsomolets mine. Coordinating the issue of generated thermal power use, when monitoring of sustainable operation of all boiler systems is completed. The decision has been made for thermal power use on the mine’s production ground, where the need and opportunity exist due to a planned methane surface delivery right into the place of a modular boiler station placement.

Looking for the organization to provide a technical training for Project Team and Komsomolets mine technical staff to secure the adequate monitoring of a methane fueled boiler.

January-February 2007

Uglemetan received an approval of the methane utilization project at the Komsomolets mine from the Ecological Department of the Federal Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Control Service. The development and approval stage of the pilot project is now complete.

Uglemetan is considering commercial offers from Teplocontrol-Montazh and BiKZ on production, supply and installation of a modular boiler house for methane utilization.

The UNDP project manager had a meeting with management of SUEK in Moscow and discussed the methane utilization pilot project at the Komsomolets mine.

November-December 2006

March, 2006

The production meeting took place in Novosibisrk city with the design company " NoTEP" during which initial data for the project Design document development and the layout of a vacuum pump placing near the degas well ¹ 301 were handed over. The feasibility study submission dates were changed due to the delay in modular boiler stations initial data provision by Biisk city boiler plant.

The business trip was made to Biisk city boiler plant to meet the leading design engineer and to examine the boilers' assembly workshop. The details for boilers assembly, its sizing, type of automated systems and mounting issues were discussed. The scope of work and sequence of actions to manufacture a modular boiler station (MBS) were defined. The enquiry was developed and directed to the design institution in Ekaterinburg city to optimize the design of a gas burner to be used for degas methane combustion.

The presentation of the project "Degasification Methane Use in "Komsomolets" Mine" took place during the 20th session of Russia-Germany Working Group on Strategic Collaboration in Economy & Financing. The event was hold on the threshold of April Russia- Germany Summit and attended by representatives of Ministries and Departments under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade A.V. Sharonov. Project information was included into exhibition materials "Industrial and Scientific-Engineering Potential of Siberia".

February, 2006

Two options of a modular boiler station placement were considered including the production ground of ventilation shaft ¹ 2 and a vacuum pump station placing next to the degasification well ¹ 301.

The dates of methane air sampling undertaking and encapsulation of the degas well and a pipeline section that transfers methane to the vacuum pump station were specified.

Questionnaires were developed and submitted to the Technical Department of SC SUEK in Leninsk Kuznetsky to be used for the Feasibility study elaboration of project that envisages the use of "Megtec" company equipment at "The 7th of November Mine" and a gas generator unit at "Kirov Mine".

January, 2006

The meeting was held in Kemerovo between UNDP personnel, external experts and "Uglemetan" working group to undertake the interim assessment of project realization strategy.

The project related production discussion took place at "Komsomolets" mine to finalize the Minutes of previously held Technical Meeting and to specify a demo project option of CMM utilization in a modular boiler station aimed for placement next to the degasification well ¹301.

The selection of control equipment for installation on the modular boiler station and of electronic flow meters to monitor GHG emissions was undertaken. Questionnaires were compiled and directed to Caterpillar and VADO Engineering GmbH to place an order for gas generator units.

The First Announcement for the International Conference "Coal Mine Methane: Recovery, Utilization and Investment Opportunities" has been issued and organization procedure is underway.

The technical workshop was held in Leninsk-Kuznetsky branch of SC "SUEK" attended by representatives of Leninsk-Kuznetsky branch of SC "SUEK", SC "Komsomolets Mine", NPO "Uglemetan", SC "Novosibirskteploelectroproekt", SC "Byiskii Boiler Plant", Scientific Center VostNII and Institute of Coal & Coal Chemistry SB RAS.

November, 2005

The contract with SC "Novosibirskteploelektroproekt" to develop a feasibility study of the project "Degasification Methane Use at "Komsomolets" Mine and Boiler House Reconstruction". Required data has been collected and submitted.

The operational meeting took place at "Komsomolets" mine and attended by engineers from NPO "Uglemetan" , "Komsomolets" mine and Research institute VostNII to discuss recommendation into mine's degasification system development, provided by VostNII specialists.

The discussion was held with the chief engineer of the design organization SC "Solant" following the issue of expertise and initial estimate of the "Komsomolets" mine's boiler house conditions with the aim to implement reconstruction work. The scope of work for this type of work has been elaborated.

The proposal was submitted to Global Opportunity Fund (Great Britain) to "Climate Change and Energy" program with the purpose to get grant money for the development of ten PINs for future replication projects aimed for realization by UNDP/GEF Project's long-term perspective.

Preliminary negotiation were held with the market researcher of Deutz Power Systems (Germany) to know more about the range of products manufactured and sold by the company, including gas generator units run on natural gas and degas methane.

The project's technical meeting was held in Moscow. The adopted decision envisaged the necessity to speed up design woks on surface and underground portions of methane utilization system at "Komsomolets" mine.

PIN document was developed for "V.I. Lenina" mine and submitted to World Bank for consideration.

September, 2005

Production talks were undertaken by "Uglemetan" personnel and technical staff of SC "VostNII-NTK" to discus project technical details of two options of degasification system reconstruction on "Komsomolets" mine, including operating regime for the vacuum pump station, methane volumes enclosed within the gob area of Breevskii coal seam.

Personnel of Project's Working Group in Kemerovo took part in "Methane to Markets" Oil and Gas Subcommittee Meeting held in Tomsk to communicate the project current status to the members of ERUs international trading market from USA, Germany, Mexico, Canada and Great Britain, aiming to broadening international contacts, searching for project-co-financing sources and providing UNDP/GEF project replication background.

August, 2005

Based on results of negotiation held between "Uglemetan" and design companies "Lugabnskgiproshakht" and "Novosibirskteploenergoproekt" the possibility was considered to make two agreements for Feasibility Study and Project Detailed Design of "Degas methane use on Komsomolets mine " project with the above said entities.

Scope of work and planned schedule for design work was specified. The decision was adopted to get involved specialists of SC "Lugabnskgiproshakht" when necessary to develop some sections of a boiler house conversion to methane and a vacuum pump station projecting.

July, 2005

Production talks took place between "Uglemetan" engineers and technical specialists of "Komsomolets" mine to discuss recommendations on the degasification system reconstruction.

Issues on methane air mixture sampling on mobile vacuum pump station were reconciled with the State Mine Rescue Team representatives in Kemerovo, Leninsk Kuznetsky and on " Komsomolets" mine. Analysis of degas methane ÂÂÍ-50 sample was taken on the borehole # 301.

June, 2005

The discussion was held between representatives of Danish company "COWI" and "Komsomolets" mine management on the issue of mine's possible participation in JI project. The guests visited the number of technological sites including mobile vacuum pump station, borehole #301, 16162 and a boiler house of mine's shaft #2.

May 4, 2005

NPO Uglemetan staff and representatives of the Komsomolets mine, SUEK Leninsk-Kuznetsky branch traveled to Ukraine to examine methane powered boilers and other equipment and acquaint with operation of gas preparation systems. They discussed a number of technical issues related to degasification systems with staff and management of the Zasyadko, Glubokaya and Krasnoarmeyskaya-Zapadnaya-1 mines.

March 31, 2005

Cost information sent by design institutions together with indicated amount of work required for elaboration of a detailed design for "Drained methane use on Komsomolets mine" project has been analyzed.

March 30, 2005

In Leninsk-Kuznetskyi the initial meeting was held between the representatives of "Komsomolets" mine and SC "Novosibirskteploenergoproekt", whose participation in the project design development was considered.

March 8, 2005

Scope of work for elaborating technical documentation on methane recovery and use project on "Komsomolets" mine has been reconciled. Scope of work document was signed both by representatives of " Komsomolets" mine and Administrator of SC "SUEK" affiliated branch in Leninsk-Kuznetskii.

February 22, 2005

The meeting with a representative of "Marubeni Corporation " (Japan) took place in "Uglemetan" office in Kemerovo, during which issues of Japan company participation in UNDP/GEF project implementation under the support of JGRF, founded by 31 private companies, was discussed.

February 14, 2005

The Project Steering Committee session, comprising representatives of UNDP/GEF, RF Minpromenergo, NPO "Uglemetan", SC "SUEK" and "Komsomolets" mine took place in Leninsk-Kuznetskii. Oleg Tilakov, Project manager, reported project implementation results and suggested Project Operation Plan for 2005 for approval. Boiler house on "Komsomolets" mine's shaft # 2 and degas well # 301 were visited. Additional meeting was held in the office of SC "SUEK" affiliated branch.
